Nutrition Information at Oklahoma State University

A healthy lifestyle involves many choices. Among them includes eating a balanced diet and having healthy eating plan. To lead a balanced and healthy lifestyle you need to make certain dietary choices.  University Dining Services (UDS) is committed to providing the needed tools and resources to make those choices.

According to the Dietary Guidelines for Americans a healthy eating plan:

  • Emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and fat-free or low-fat milk and milk products
  • Includes lean meats, poultry, fish, beans, eggs, and nuts
  • Is low in saturated fats, trans fats, cholesterol, salt (sodium), and added sugars

NetNutrition is an interactive tool for viewing menus and approximate nutritional information at University Dining Services locations.  The Daily Value percentages are based upon the Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDAs) for males and females between the ages of 19-24. Net Nutrition allows you to:

·         View menus and compare selections

·         Plan a balance diet

·         Screen menu for allergens and special dietary information

·         Filter by dining location and specific menu preferences such as vegetarian or vegan
